With October almost over (can you believe it?), all you are left with is approximately ten days or less till November, and all the Christmas jazz that comes after (not that anything Christmas related is bad, far from). Ok, are you ready for this? The Internet is performing at Ace of Spades on October 28, 2018, and there are no words to say how excited the entire MGM team is!
For those of you who aren’t quite sure who The Internet are, they are an American band from Los Angeles, California who make music under Soul, Trip-hop, Neo soul, Funk, Alternative R&B, Hip hop soul and Electronica. If this is your vibe, you know where you’ll be on October 28, 2018, don’t you? Sure! If you are already a fan, then there’s no question about your engagement on that date!

November 8, 2018 is reserved for none other than Jesse McCartney Duo, performing at The University Union Ballroom, Sacramento! If you are a fan, you know you’ve been waiting long enough (you’ll agree four years is more than being patient!) for this New York-born singer, songwriter, producer, and actor to bring another masterpiece to this world. Last time his name was everything anyone talked about was his well-received 2014 album ‘In Technicolor’ and participation on Leona Lewis’s “Bleeding Love.” With the release of Jesse McCartney’s new single “Better With You,” attending his performance is an absolute must! The talent is waiting for you on Thursday, November 8, 2018, and there’s no question you’ll love everything about this concert. Everyone at MGM is excited, too!

TRICKS AND TIPS: Want to make going to any of these performances (or both) even more spectacular? Gather your friends and book a party bus with MGM or a standard Night Out limo! This sure will be a thrill, as coming to a concert of a band you adore in a party limo, somehow, manages to upgrade the entire vibe. If there aren’t too many of you and booking a party bus is unnecessary this time around, go for a regular town car or a limo, or any of the amazing cars in MGM’s fleet. It’ll be great!
Other Fun Miscellaneous
Whether you’re a first-time runner or a longtime racer, leave October 20th available for Halloween Fun Run 5K, 10K, Kids Dash For The Whole Family. The run will take place at North Natomas Regional Park at 8:00 AM and will last till 12:00 PM. Don’t forget to be there at least 30 minutes earlier because the registration starts at 7:30 AM. This is a family-friendly event and is open for everyone who either wants to show off their running skill or participate to show good will. As advertised through the event, “a portion of the net proceeds from the series benefits BBMJ and the Boys & Girls Club of America (Sacramento Chapter),” so – why not put your snickers on, and have a run?

Did anyone say LET’S BRUNCH? Women did, and they are in power! Last time this Women in Power Brunch took place, MGM had the honor to transport the ladies to and back from the event, and it’s happening again this October!
As the event announced, there will be over ten small businesses featured, with Women of Sacramento staying focused on keeping Sacramento’s business local and female-powered. Women have partnered with a number of women-owned, local food vendors to treat everyone present with the most delicious treats in Sacramento… so, there’s no doubt you’ll enjoy the food and the drinks (hint: champagne and other delicious wine are on the menu with MGM’s Wine Tour limo service available, too!). Speakers scheduled to appear will give their best to challenge and encourage women to take action in their lives, their communities, and businesses!
