Northstar is a family ski resort ideal for intermediate skiers. The extensive landscape covers 3,170 acres
with 97 immaculately groomed trails accessible by 20 lifts. Most of the slopes are rated as moderate,
with 13% initial runs and 60% intermediate runs. From 6,330 feet to 8,610 feet, Northstar usually has
good snow cover, and when snow is rare, snow plows operate at the resort. Skiers love to glide down
the powdery slopes surrounded by lush pine forests. Northstar is also known for its snowboarding
including Straits for various jumps, Pinball for shooters, and Burton Progress Park for those who study
freestyle.
