When I decided to upgrade from a taxi to a limo driver, I knew the dynamic of my workday was going to change, but I didn’t have a clue it was going to change THIS MUCH! At first, it was stressful, and it took time to get used to everything. I hated it. It seemed too much of everything – the rulebook was too overwhelming to handle at times. But, it didn’t take longer than a month of limo driving to grow on me. I swear, one of the most amazing and rewarding things ever is to see a client leaving your limo happy, relaxed and thrilled! I see our customers stressed, overworked, always in a rush to get here and there… and it makes me so excited to see our company’s helping them at least a bit. I specialize in corporate transportation and work with business people for the most part. These days, I can’t be happier to get to work!

Committing to a limo company and specializing in a specific type of transportation can be both a blessing and a curse. On the one hand, you can get lucky to work with phenomenal people that treat you right and give you the opportunity to grow, entrust you with A-lister clients and treat you like one of their own, and on the other… heh, well – you can end up with a firm that’s just wrong in every way possible, that is – wrong for you. The previous company I was in got me thinking it’s time I quit this career and start something else. I was always tired, with too many rides in a day and no schedule beforehand so I can plan my week. I was on call non-stop, even though my contract said nothing about it. After I quit, I was convinced I won’t work in the limo industry ever again. Luckily, a friend who was working with Limo MGM recommended the company and advised I apply. I was reluctant at first, but when I sat the first interview with the guys, I knew this is where I wanted to work. I’ve been with them for over three years now and couldn’t be happier! I specialize in airport transportation, and while it isn’t always easy to keep up with flight delays, tense customers, baggage claim and stuff like that, it’s truly awesome to see them relax when they get our help with everything airport-related, and a limo ride they deserve. Napa Valley is known for its wineries, many people visit this region exclusively for that reason. However, since there are more than 400 of these, almost magical winemaking places in Napa Valley, squeezing them all into ONE outing would be a tremendous challenge. Even if you book a highly specialized car service for your wine tour and manage to visit each and every one (and get to taste all the alcoholic beverages those vineries can offer!), it’ll all still be in vain. Don’t get us wrong, your contributions to wine-world would be greatly appreciated, for sure – but you do want to arrange things in a more logical way, and have several tours in order to see the most of it.

Although we do understand wine-tasting is a very subjective matter, take a look at our top 5 favorite wineries – we have a feeling you may like them:

BERNINGER VINEYARDS

If you are just at the beginning of your love story with wine, this is a wonderful place to start. California’s oldest still operating winery was founded in 1875 by Jacob Berninger and his brother Frederic. They built the Rhine house, in such a way that it resembles their home at Mainz-on-the-Rhine. Their aging tunnels are dug into the hillside of Spring Mountain, and they keep the barrels of our favorite drink at optimal 58-60 degrees Fahrenheit all year round.

If you happen to drop by on Saturdays from July until October, you’re in for a live musical treat as well.

INGLENOOK

This vineyard was founded by Gustave Niebaum, a sea captain from Finland with a fiery passion for making wines. Francis Coppola (Godfather, anybody?) purchased the estate back in ’75 with a vision to restore it to its former glory. The Coppolas have been working on this winery for the last forty years and nowadays Inglenook is a must-see when on a wine tour.

Depending on the amount you’re willing to spend and how up and close to the winemaking process you want to get, there are a few possibilities to choose from as far as your wine-tasting experience goes. Don’t forget to stop by the museum upstairs if you want to learn more about the history of this lovely place.

CASTELLO DI ARMOSA

When you want to feel like you’re in Tuscany, but you found yourself stranded in Napa Valley, Castello Di Armosa is the place to visit. This 13th-century style inspired castle will take your breath away and give you that distinct European feel, without the pricey ticket. Two levels of a castle are yours to explore for a 30-dollar price tag. If you want the guided tour with lovely perks, it’ll cost you 15 dollars more.

FROG’S LEAP

Why would you waste your mobile data if there’s another way to check your emails or surf the interwebs for fun? Most motorcoach companies near me list WiFi among other benefits they provide, and you can bet that Limo MGM does the same.

Are you stranded on San Francisco National Airport between your two flights? If SFO were your starting point, you could’ve easily booked a MGM’s  luxurious town car to take you all the way your terminal and make the whole process much easier (live and learn, right?), but alas…

Now that you’ve found yourself within the confines of the seventh-busiest airport in the USA, and are left with time to spare before boarding on the next plane, here are few ideas on how to kill time without being bored out of your mind.

WARNING: It goes without saying that you should go and explore The Golden City if you have more than 4 hours to spare. Be aware, though: you need around 30 minutes (if not more) to get to the fun parts of the city. These are suggestions for those rainy days when you don’t feel like exploring (we know those are rare in California, but hey, you never know!) or for those cases when it’s simply not prudent to leave the airport.

Berman Reflection Room, Christian Science Reading Room, and even Yoga Room have their doors open for the passengers in search of little peace and quiet between the connecting flights. Feel free to charge your batteries (yeah, watch out for your phone/tablet/computer battery life as well, but for that, you might try to visit some other area). These precious places of stillness are yours to use 24/7, and best of all- they’re free of charge!

Aviation Museum & Library

If you want to get an insight into aviation history and learn about the development of the commercial aircraft industry and its effect on today’s everyday life, stop by this place! This adaptation of the airport’s 1930s passenger lobby filled with research services and educational programs is open daily from 10 am-4:30 pm. If you love model airplanes, you’ll have a blast.
